Bubba’s Burrito Bar is a fresh food Mexican restaurant located on the south shore of Long Island in the heart of the Islip hamlet. Bubba's is a “Fresh Food Restaurant” instead of fast food because all food is prepped daily and cooked to order. Bubba's food has a Mexican style with a West-Coast fling. We pride ourselves on serving our customers with three main goals: price, portion, and quality.
Bubba’s tries to separate itself from other Mexican restaurants in many different ways. The décor and menu is similar to the restaurants that dot the West Coast of California. The interior has a tropical Southern California feel with scenes of action sports including surfing, skate, and snow. We also have a living art gallery where local artists can display their work in hope of selling. Our menu has signature items like fish and shrimp tacos, huge West Coast burritos, and new daily specials as we are constantly trying to provide our customers with fresh new items. Bubba’s is always evolving. One new step that Bubba’s is working on is becoming completely green. We have changed 90% of our disposables and takeout material to renewable resources like corn and sugarcane with other modifications in progress. We hope to reach our green goals by the end of 2011.
Bubba’s also offers a huge variety of beers and homemade Sangria. At any given time, Bubba’s has a 30 plus beer selection and always features a large variety of seasonal beers.
